In January 2024, as Ishika Agrawal prepared for her brother’s wedding, she found the perfect designer dress but was overwhelmed by the price tags of the well known designers and studios . She realized she would only wear it once, and with an already overflowing closet, the idea of spending too much made no sense.
That’s when it hit her: Why not get a beautiful dress customized for special occasions as per your style instead of buying it?
This moment of frustration led to the creation of Kiki by Ishika Agrawal. The platform offers stylish, high-quality occasion wear with customization — giving women access to designer dresses without the financial burden . Whether it’s a wedding, gala, or celebration, Kiki allows women to look their best, without high financial commitment.
Building Kiki
In March 2024, Ishika Agrawal worked tirelessly to launch Kiki by Ishika Agrawal. She conducted market research through surveys and Instagram polls to understand what women wanted in occasion wear. This feedback shaped her vision for the brand.
She attended fashion exhibitions and dove into R&D to stay on top of trends and discover the best fabrics and designs. Ishika built a reliable delivery management system to ensure timely deliveries and set up a specialized stylist team to maintain the quality of every outfit.
On top of that, she forged strong relationships with designers for procurement, securing a curated collection of high-end pieces for rent. By March 2024, Kiki was ready to offer women a seamless,
stylish way to dress for special occasions — without the hassle of tireless visit to one store to another.
Kiki by Ishika Agrawal is Born
After months of hard work, late nights, and countless revisions, Ishika Agrawal and her core team — with the help of a dedicated group of interns — are finally ready to introduce Kiki by Ishika Agrawal to the world.
The platform, designed to offer stylish, high-quality occasion wear at the most affordable prizes, was officially launched on January 20th, 2025. The team has worked tirelessly to ensure the experience is seamless, from easy online browsing to timely delivery and expert stylist care. This launch marks the beginning of a new chapter for fashion , empowering women to look their best for every special occasion without unnecessary burden.
